Libya rebels move onto Syrian battlefield - CNN

In the article above there is an admittance that foreign fighters are fighting in Syria - fighters which are of the order of Jhadists, Salifists, Al Qaeda and probably mercenaries in general.  The explanation just as to why a major mainstream media (CNN) is mentioning this probably that as the whole world now, in the myriad forms of alternative media has been stating this for months.  By mentioning it CNN, representing the West, makes itself appear as if is being honest.  In fact western media knows now that it must report this, rather than avoid reporting this truth or covering it as otherwise its agenda will be simply too obvious.  In other words had it not been for the reporting of the alternative world-wide press it is very unlikely that it would have been reported by CNN.  By reporting it it appears as though it were initiating the (statement of) truth.  However it seems that it is trying to kill two birds with one stone in that it proactively denies western responsibility, especially herein in the form of "recruitment" and in respect to the supplying of arms.  Reading this article - here:   Why Did CIA Director Petraeus Resign?
